We collect nothing. This is not a simplification or a euphemism — it is a precise description of how this site works. We have designed the entire application so that we never receive, store, or process your data in any form.

Your images never leave your device. All image processing, 3D rendering, and STL generation happens in your browser using JavaScript, Canvas API, and WebGL. No file is ever uploaded to any server.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • — Personal information: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any identifying information.
  • — Images or files: Your uploaded images and generated STL files remain entirely on your device.
  • — Usage data: We do not track which tools you use, how often you visit, or what you convert.
  • — Cookies: We do not set any cookies. There are no authentication, tracking, or preference cookies.
  • — Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any other analytics service.
  • — IP addresses: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process IP addresses as part of standard network operations, but we do not log or store them.

How the Tool Works

Understanding how our tool works explains why we can make these privacy claims:

  1. The website is a set of static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files served by a CDN.
  2. When you upload an image by dragging it into the converter, the image is loaded into your browser memory — not transmitted to any server.
  3. The JavaScript code on the page reads the image pixels, converts them to a heightmap, and generates a 3D mesh — all within your browser.
  4. The STL file is assembled and downloaded directly from your browser memory to your device.
  5. At no point in this process does any data leave your device.

Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare for DNS and CDN services. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser metadata as part of standard network operations. Cloudflare does not have access to your images or conversion data because those never leave your browser. Learn more at Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
